Part notation part improvisation, this piece is meant to portray a growing sense of unease or discontent. Here notes are played out of tune and entrances are deliberately staggered. This gives the work an intentionally jagged and uncomfortable feeling.

Each track was recorded separately. I doubled the viola to fill in what would normally be the cello part.
